Are you our next star in meeting sales for three of Skåne's top hotels?
Do you love the feeling of hotels, are driven by closing deals, and have experience coordinating large, complex meetings as well as small and genuine ones? Then you might be the Inhouse Sales star we are looking for in our meeting and event booking!
About the role
As Inhouse Sales Meetings and Events for our three hotels, you will be a key player in our commercial team. Your responsibility, along with a dedicated team, will be to handle incoming inquiries for conferences, events, and groups. Your daily work will involve transforming inquiries into confirmed bookings through professional advice and strong business acumen.
You will work with three unique hotel products and five restaurants, which requires your ability to match the right customer with the right environment and package solution. The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement.
Your main responsibilities
- Actively drive and manage incoming inquiries for conferences and events via phone and email.
- Be responsible for parts of the sales process: from initial contact and quote to contract signing.
- Optimize revenue through upselling, venue selection, and strategic pricing in consultation with the Revenue Manager.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
- Administer in systems such as CRM, quoting, and booking systems.
We are looking for someone who
Has previously worked with meeting and event sales within hotels or similar businesses. Experience with larger meetings and congresses is highly desirable. You are business-driven and see opportunities where others see problems, motivated by achieving set sales goals.
You are structured. With three hotels, 35 conference rooms, and several restaurants, excellent administrative skills are required, and you can handle many tasks simultaneously. You work closely with both the internal and external sales teams and the operations at the hotels to ensure the highest quality in delivery.
Communicates well: You express yourself fluently in both Swedish and English, in both speech and writing.
